What is 'office massage'?

Corporate massage is an affordable, enjoyable and effective way to tackle stress at the source. Using various massage styles a 15 or 20-minute 'de-stress' massage is given to staff seated in a special massage chair. It is deeply relaxing yet finishes in an energising manner. It can be taken at the desk or in a spare meeting room. People's clothes' remain on and no oil is used.

How is the office massage carried out?

Coretherapies provde a roster sheet to the organiser so your team can choose when they want their massage. Massages are normally 15/20 0r 30 minutes per individual. Our qualified therapists arrive 15 minutes before start time to setup in a special room. After all your staff have been massaged we pack up, re-set the room as we found it come back in a week, fornight or month, depending on when the next booking is.

Who pays?

There are 3 common setups:

1) 100% Employer-funded. The employer pays for the service to occur on a regular basis. This is the most common scenario, especially for any seminars or coaching

2) Subsidised. The employer and the employee share the cost of the service. Some of our clients pay most of the massage, and the individual pays $10 for 20 minutes or so...

3) 100% Employee-funded. In some instances the employees will organise and pay for the massage to occur regularly. The employer allows the service to happen and allocates a room on the day.

However when we talk about COST, it's been estimated that for every $1 spent on employee health & wellbeing the company receives $2 - $3 back on the bottom line. There is actually no cost to providing workplace initiatives for your employees. It's an investment in the health of your people.
